T. I. Lodge – This is a traditional Thousand Islands cottage built in the 1890’s. The painting was commissioned by my neighbor as a gift to his wife, who grew up spending summers there with her family. I chose the mid-autumn colors to complement the cottage color. I also chose the early morning light, partly because of the beautiful colors and partly because we often enjoy morning coffee together on the dock. Every painting tells a treasured story!
